When I started the All Moms Go To Heaven Company,

I was asked a few questions by mothers and children.

I have included the answer to some of those here:

Why did you start a company called All Moms Go To Heaven?

Twenty years ago, moments after I gave birth to my first child, I told my mom 'I must be going to heaven for this'. Her response, said with a smile, was "All Moms Go To Heaven!"

Somehow that sentiment stuck - and over the years it became a funny joke we shared when we would see a mom with a stroller full of crying kids, hearing of sleepless nights, the worrying about their kids - and all that goes with motherhood.

Then a few years ago, a friend's daughter was in an automobile accident. And my friend blamed herself, even though she could not have done anything to prevent it - something many moms do. She started with "I should have...", and then "I shouldn't have..." feeling like a terrible mom. Then she said "didn't you tell me All Moms Go To Heaven?" as if to feel a little better.

At that moment I decided that I would create a venue and a symbol that honors moms & motherhood each and every day, and would make it easy for kids of all ages to show mom their appreciation and love.

It's about time that the job of Motherhood was recognized as the praiseworthy and important job that it is!
